Monday 8/7 Beginning a new week

We started the week with a small pep-talk from Mark, Mike (the First Assistant Director), and Debbie (the Producer). The main purpose of the talk was to make explicit to everyone the procedures for doing a shot to get things moving as smoothly as possible. The issues seem to be related to communication so making the procedures explicit should help. (I know the photo looks like everyone is praying but that is not the case).

The bad news today is the news that we have lost the actor playing the part of Pierre. That is especially bad since one of his scenes was supposed to be shot tomorrow. I think Mark was looking at three resumes this afternoon. We shall see how that all turns out.

The good news is that by today’s graph it looks like we are right on schedule. I do think this may be a bit of an illusion since there are probably some complicated scenes that will take longer than normal to shoot.
